This is a direct-fit replacement up-pipe for EJ25-powered Subarus, engineered to mate with OEM 2-bolt headers for improved turbo response and durability over the factory up-pipe.

2004-2021 Subaru STI, 2006-2014 Subaru WRX, 2006-2013 Subaru Forester XT, 2007-2009 Subaru Legacy GT, and 2007-2009 Subaru Outback XT, all EJ25 engines with OEM 2-bolt headers.
What It Does
Replaces the factory up-pipe with a design that reduces flow restriction, typically improving turbo spool by 300-400 RPM sooner for quicker throttle response. It is also a useful replacement for factory up-pipes whose interior walls have become brittle and broken apart from age and heat cycles, which can block turbocharger flow.
Construction
Built from 14-gauge 304 stainless steel mandrel-bent tubing with a 321 stainless steel flex joint, in a black ceramic coating for thermal management and appearance. Flanges are 1/2-inch CNC-machined for a secure seal, with TIG welds inside and out by certified welders. SEMA Certified (SC-GRM01-0145).

Compatibility Limits

Installation
- Raise and support the vehicle and allow the exhaust system to cool completely before beginning work.
- Remove the factory up-pipe from the turbocharger outlet and the OEM 2-bolt header per the applicable factory service procedure.
- Install the included Fire Ring gaskets at each connection point.
- Mount the new up-pipe to the header and turbocharger outlet using the included zinc-coated hardware.
- Torque all fasteners to the applicable factory specification and check for leaks after the engine is started and warmed up.
