Installation Instructions
- Support the vehicle on jackstands with the rear wheels removed.
- Remove the caliper guide pin bolts and free the caliper from the bracket support it with wire rather than hanging by the flexible hose.
- Slide the worn pads out of the caliper bracket and clean the pad contact channels.
- Compress the caliper pistons as required and install the HB850C.655 HPX pads into the carrier.
- Reinstall the caliper and torque the guide pin bolts to Porsche factory specification for the 911 GT3.
- Reinstall rear wheels, torque lug bolts to factory spec, and pump the pedal until firm.
- Conduct the Hawk bed-in sequence on track: six to ten progressive moderate braking events from 60 mph followed by two to three hard stops, with full cool-down periods between runs.
