Hawk Performance's HPX compound was engineered specifically for the autocross and club-racing environment where smooth, predictable brake torque matters as much as raw stopping force. Part number HB927C.568 brings that same validated friction technology to the rear axle of the 2020 and 2021 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z51, a platform already equipped with Brembo hardware from the factory. The HPX compound is not street-rated and is intended exclusively for track and motorsports use.

- One set of Hawk HPX rear brake pads (HB927C.568) for the 2020-2021 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z51
Installation Instructions
- Raise the vehicle safely on jackstands and remove the rear wheels.
- Remove the caliper slide pin bolts and swing the caliper free of the rotor do not let it hang by the brake line.
- Slide the old HB927C.568-compatible pads out of the caliper carrier and clean the pad contact points.
- Compress the rear caliper piston(s) using a piston wind-back tool as required by the C8 Z51 electronic parking brake system.
- Seat the new HB927C.568 HPX pads in the carrier, reinstall the caliper, and torque the slide pin bolts to factory specification.
- Reinstall wheels and pump the brake pedal until firm before moving the vehicle.
- Perform a proper bed-in procedure on track before full-load braking: six to ten moderate slow-downs from 60 mph to 15 mph, followed by two to three harder stops. Allow the brakes to cool fully between sessions.
