Installation Overview
- Safely lift the vehicle and support on jack stands. Remove the front wheels.
- Disconnect the sway bar end links and any brake line brackets attached to the factory strut.
- Remove the upper strut tower mounting hardware and the lower strut-to-knuckle pinch bolt. Extract the factory strut assembly.
- Set the ICO82000 coilover to the desired ride height using the threaded collar and ICON's reference chart before installation.
- Install the coilover into the strut tower, threading upper hardware by hand first.
- Insert the lower coilover into the steering knuckle and torque the pinch bolt to OEM specification.
- Reinstall brake line brackets and sway bar end links. Reinstall the wheels.
- Lower the vehicle and perform a full 4-wheel alignment. Recalibrate ADAS systems per manufacturer requirements.
