Installation Instructions
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning installation to prevent accidental MAF sensor damage.
- Loosen and remove the factory air intake duct clamp at the throttle body using a flathead screwdriver or 8mm socket.
- Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector from the factory intake tube.
- Remove the factory airbox lid, then lift out the stock air filter and airbox base. Disconnect any breather hoses attached to the airbox and retain for reconnection.
- Remove the factory intake tube. Set aside all factory hardware in case reinstallation is needed.
- Transfer the MAF sensor from the factory tube into the K&N 77-1569KS aluminum tube. Use the included hardware and tighten securely but do not over-torque.
