Extend Filter Service Intervals in Dusty Conditions
The K&N PreCharger RU-0510PK is a precision-engineered filter wrap that adds an extra layer of protection to your K&N round straight air filter. Designed for off-road trucks, ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, and any vehicle that sees heavy dirt, sand, or dusty operating environments, the PreCharger stops large debris before it reaches the filter media, dramatically extending the service interval between cleanings.
Built from durable polyester with a uniform micron weave, the PreCharger captures dirt particles while adding minimal airflow restriction. Double-stitched elastic openings grip the filter base and closed top, keeping the wrap securely in place at any rpm. When it loads up, simply remove and clean with K&N Filter Cleaner, then reinstall.

Fitment
Universal fitment for any K&N round straight air filter with a 3.5 inch inside diameter and 5 inch height. Verify your existing K&N filter dimensions before ordering.
Installation Instructions
- Confirm your K&N filter measures 3.5 inch ID by 5 inch tall and has a closed top.
- Remove the air filter from the intake or air box following the vehicle service manual.
- Inspect the filter media for damage, clean if necessary using K&N cleaner and oil per K&N recharge instructions.
- Stretch the elastic top opening of the PreCharger over the closed end of the filter.
- Roll the wrap down evenly around the filter body, centering the K&N logo as desired.
- Seat the bottom elastic opening fully against the filter base flange.
- Verify the wrap is wrinkle free and fully covers the pleated media with no gaps.
- Reinstall the wrapped filter into the intake or air box.
- Tighten the air box, intake clamp, or mounting hardware to factory specification.
- Inspect the wrap regularly, remove and clean with K&N Filter Cleaner when visibly loaded.
