The K&N HP-7028 is a high-performance cartridge-style oil filter engineered for Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, Dodge Sprinter, and Jeep Grand Cherokee models equipped with the 3.0L V6 diesel (OM642 engine family) and select other applications. The K&N HP-7028 measures 2.75 inches outside diameter and 3.625 inches in height, using high-efficiency synthetic-blend pleated media with uniform pleats for consistent oil flow and contaminant removal. The HP-7028 is designed for up to 10% higher oil flow rates compared to standard filtration products, traps up to 98% of contaminants at 30 microns, and is rated for up to 20,000-mile service intervals. The HP-7028 uses a Viton rubber gasket for heat resistance and seals directly in place of the OEM cartridge filter. Sold individually. Backed by a K&N 1-Year Limited Warranty.
