This converter is a universal weld in catalytic converter. Follow these general steps for proper installation:

1. Allow the vehicle exhaust system to cool completely before beginning work.
2. Position this converter in the exhaust path in the desired location, observing proper flow direction (inlet toward the engine, outlet toward the rear).
3. Ensure adequate clearance from the vehicle floor pan, transmission tunnel, and any heat sensitive components.
4. Tack weld the inlet and outlet connections to the surrounding exhaust tubing to confirm fitment and alignment before final welds.
5. Complete full circumference TIG or MIG welds at both the inlet and outlet joints using a filler compatible with T304 stainless steel.
