Fitment
Engineered for 2008-2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke V8 diesel, covering XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims.
Installation Instructions
- Park the truck on a level surface, allow the exhaust to cool completely, then chock the wheels and safely raise and support the chassis.
- Spray penetrating lubricant on factory exhaust hangers, clamps, and flange bolts, then allow it to soak.
- Disconnect the factory exhaust at the rear of the last catalytic converter using the 3-bolt flange.
- Support the OE muffler and tailpipe assembly, free the rubber isolators from the chassis hangers, and remove the stock system.
- Loosely assemble the 106-0748 components on the ground in the order shown in the supplied diagram.
- Position the new front section against the cat flange using the supplied 3-bolt gasket, bolts, and nuts, leaving the hardware finger tight.
- Install each section in sequence, sliding the 4-inch band clamps over each connection point.
- Engage the band clamp hangers into the factory rubber isolators along the chassis.
- Align the tip for proper clearance from the body, frame, and spare tire, then verify all pipes are parallel and level.
- Working from front to back, tighten the 3-bolt flange to OE specification, then torque each band clamp evenly.
- Start the engine, check for leaks at every joint, lower the vehicle, and road test.
