The Mishimoto MMTC-WK2-TBVFF full-flow thermal bypass valve kit completely eliminates the factory transmission fluid warmer circuit on 2016–2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee models (3.6L V6, 5.7L HEMI, 6.4L SRT) with the 8HP70/8HP75 8-speed automatic, forcing 100% of ATF flow through the external cooler for dramatically lower transmission temperatures during towing, spirited driving, or hot climates.
CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum with integrated 180°F thermostat and anodized black finish, this direct drop-in replacement uses factory seals and includes a new O-ring for leak-free operation. By bypassing the restrictive factory warmer that blocks cooler flow below 180°F, the Mishimoto full-flow valve reduces ATF temps by 20–40°F under load, extending transmission life and improving shift quality on stock or tuned WK2 Grand Cherokees.
