Installation Instructions

- Park the truck on a level surface, secure it, and support the vehicle with appropriately rated stands. Do not rely on a jack alone.
- Measure and record the original rear ride height and inspect the suspension for worn or damaged parts.
- Remove the rear wheels and support the rear axle before removing the original rear suspension components.
- Remove the original rear shackles, hangers, and other components that interfere with the lowering installation, following the vehicle service procedure.
- Install the QA1 flip brackets, hangers, and powder-coated shackles in their applicable mounting locations.
- Install the supplied QA1 Stocker Star shocks and confirm that the shock bodies and mounts are not contacting surrounding components.
- Install all supplied hardware and leave components positioned for final alignment until the suspension is supported at the appropriate ride position.
- Check axle position, brake line routing, driveshaft clearance, exhaust clearance, wheel and tire clearance, and suspension travel before final tightening.
- Tighten all fasteners to the vehicle or component manufacturer's specified torque values. Do not substitute estimated torque values.
- Reinstall the wheels, lower the vehicle, and verify that the suspension settles without binding.
- Set the shock rebound and compression adjustments evenly as a starting point, then tune them according to the vehicle setup and driving conditions.
- Recheck ride height, clearance, fastener security, and shock mounting after the initial road test. Have the vehicle alignment checked before regular driving.
