R1-Spec Dual w/ Resonator Catback Exhaust - Subaru WRX VB [2022+]
DUAL Exit R1-Spec with Resonated Midpipe
One of our most aggressive looking systems for the 2022+ WRX. Features dual R1-Spec muffler canisters with 4.0 inch slant cut tips. Straight through resonated midpipe to aid in sound and tone control. Designed and manufactured for the performance minded enthusiasts. The R1-Spec features 3" mandrel bent polished piping, and high flow straight through muffler design.
This system is offered with straight through type resonator located on the midpipe which helps to reduce exhaust volume/ loudness with minimal restriction.
There is a noticeable difference but it is not a huge difference between resonated and non-resonated. We recommend the resonated version if you prefer a quieter exhaust note, and/ or plan to add other exhaust or turbo related components. Each additional performance exhaust related component may increase the loudness of the exhaust. Adding a high flow downpipe, upgraded turbo charger, etc... will change the loudness and tone of the exhaust. Keep this in mind when deciding on a resonated or non-resonated version.
Tip Finish
Offered with polished stainless steel tips, or burnt finish stainless steel tips. The burnt finish is achieved using a chemical process. This vibrant finish will fade over time depending on use, cleaning, and care.
