Eliminate Driveline Vibration After A TJ Lift
The Skyjacker TCL103 transfer case lowering kit is designed for 2003-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models running a 2 to 2.5 inch suspension lift. Raising a TJ increases the angle of the driveshaft, which can create vibration, binding, or premature wear at the transfer case output and driveshaft universal joints. The TCL103 uses newly designed one piece spacer bars to lower the transfer case cross member back closer to its original relative position, correcting the driveshaft angle for smoother power delivery. This kit also includes a transfer case linkage pivot drop bracket so the shifter continues to engage properly at the new ride height. Skyjacker engineered the TCL103 to bolt in with the factory mounting points, simplifying the install compared to older multi-piece drop kit designs.

Install Instructions
- Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface and block the front and rear of the front tires.
- Place the transmission in neutral and loosen the engine mount bolts about half a turn.
- Support the transfer case cross member with a transmission or floor jack.
- Remove the bolts, nuts, and studs holding the cross member to the frame.
- Lower the cross member slowly approximately 1-1/8 inch.
- Place the new Skyjacker spacers between the frame and cross member, aligning all mounting holes.
- Raise the jack to hold the spacers in place, apply thread lock compound to the new bolts, and torque to 33 ft-lbs.
- Re-torque the engine mount bolts to specification, then install the transfer case linkage pivot drop bracket using the factory hardware.
