The Skyjacker S40R Softride rear leaf spring gives International Scout II owners a 4 inch lift while preserving on-road manners. Skyjacker builds Softride springs from American steel, shot-peening each leaf with hard steel pellets to increase tensile strength and allow more wheel travel without shortening spring life. Bolt style spring clips eliminate the friction and binding caused by cinch style bend clips found on other leaf spring designs.

Install Instructions
- Raise and safely support the rear of the Scout II, then remove the wheel
- Support the rear axle and remove the factory leaf spring assembly
- Install new spring bushings into the S40R eyelets
- Position the S40R onto the frame mounts and axle perch
- Install and torque U-bolts and shackle hardware to factory specification
- Lower the vehicle and repeat on the opposite side
