SuperPro Volkswagen Suspension Control Arm Bushing Kit - Front Lower Inner Rearward
Control Arm Lower - Inner Rear Bushing Kit-Double Offset ALOY3273-80K is one of the biggest bang-for-the-buck upgrades available for VW's MK5/MK6 Golf, GTI and Golf R range. An outstanding enthusiast platform fundamentally plagued by two handling detriments from the factory. 1) Lack of front end grip. All powerful FWD vehicles ask a lot from their front tires, but the MK5/MK6 suffers from the inability to add or adjust-in more negative camber. The rear bushings of the front lower control arms are also very soft rubber with large voids. This lets the car be comfortable and undisturbed over all sorts of lackluster roads but for those looking for improved performance and feedback it massively compromises both. The SuperPro ALOY3273-80K combines a superior bushing design and improved materials to reduce movement and deflection - this allows for a more consistent tire contact patch resulting in more grip into and through corners. The additional caster afforded by the offset bushing design brings improved steering feel, a bit of additional steering weight, greater straight-line obedience and improved traction. The additional caster also brings dynamic camber gain - more camber into corners on both sides of the car; increasing with steering angle. 2) Inability to power out of corners without compromising grip or understeering. Where the OEM rubber bushings move and deflect under changing loads compromising the tire's contact with the tarmac - the SuperPro kit drastically reduces this movement and allows the car to work the front tires far more effectively. The SuperPro ALOY3273-80K combines a superior bushing design and improved materials to reduce movement and deflection - this allows for a more consistent tire contact patch resulting in more grip into and through corners. The additional caster afforded by the offset bushing design brings improved steering feel, a bit of additional steering weight, greater straight-line obedience and improved traction. The additional caster also brings dynamic camber gain - more camber into corners on both sides of the car; increasing with steering angle.
