Installation Instructions

1. Remove the cylinder head and disassemble the valve train according to the manufacturer service manual for your specific engine application.
2. Use a valve spring compressor tool to safely compress and remove the existing intake valve springs, retainers, and keepers from each intake valve location.
3. Inspect the valve stem and guide for wear or damage before installation.
4. Install the SS-3021 seat locators on the valve stem if upgrading the full spring package.
5. Position the SPTSPR-A2095 spring over the valve stem and onto the seat locator.
6. Compress the spring using the valve spring compressor and install the RET-TC50/T1 titanium retainer onto the valve stem.
7. Insert the keeper locks to secure the retainer to the valve stem and slowly release the spring compressor.
8. Verify each spring is fully seated and retainers are properly locked before reassembling the cylinder head.
9. Check installed height measurement against specifications (36.60mm target) and verify clearance to coil bind at maximum lift.
10. Complete cylinder head reassembly and torque to manufacturer specifications.
