Yes, it is compatible with a completely stock tune. The boost tap does not modify any engine management parameters. The MAP sensor continues to function normally. Boost gauge installations are a common first mod on BMW N-series platforms and do not require a tune change.

Installation Instructions

Locate the MAP sensor on the intake manifold. Remove the two factory Phillips screws securing the MAP sensor. Place the TS-BT-716 billet spacer flat against the manifold surface with the O-ring seated in the groove toward the manifold. Position the MAP sensor on top of the spacer. Install the two longer stainless screws from the kit through the MAP sensor and spacer into the manifold. Torque snugly but do not overtighten. Thread the billet hose barb into the side port of the spacer using light thread sealant if desired. Connect your boost gauge tubing or reference line to the barb. Start the engine and check for boost leaks around the spacer and barb. If the barb line will not be connected immediately, install a vacuum cap on the barb to prevent a boost leak.
