SSR High-Performance Wheels for Enhanced Car Safety
The evolution of wheels should not be outpaced by the evolution of cars. This is our unwavering philosophy since inception. The SSR wheel was born in the circuit to enhance car performance, and since its inception, it has evolved in tandem with the automotive industry. Our wheels meet the highest safety and security standards, addressing our customers' needs with excellence.
Quality Control
In the 1970s, when SSR launched the MK-Ⅰ, the demand for alloy wheels surged dramatically. In response, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport established the JWL standard in 1973 to ensure the safety and security of alloy wheels. Only wheels that pass this rigorous standard bear the JWL mark.
- In 1981, the independent third-party VIA was established to inspect JWL standards, leading to stricter quality requirements for alloy wheels.
- SSR wheels comply with the JWL standard (except for the SPEED STAR series).
- The JWL and VIA marks on our wheels signify that our strength test standards exceed those mandated by the Ministry.
Since our founding, SSR has continually evolved wheel performance. Our commitment to pursuing the lightness and strength of wheels remains a constant theme. Therefore, our unique and higher quality standards are integral to our development process. Even in our fashion wheels, we prioritize lightness and strength. SSR does not waver from this stance.
