The AMP Research 75131-01A is a complete LED light kit designed to add or replace underboard lighting on any PowerStep installation equipped with a new-style control module.
The kit provides four LED modules with pigtails that mount along the underside of your PowerStep boards, illuminating the step surface for safe and visible entry and exit in low-light conditions. The wiring harness splices directly into the existing PowerStep wiring no new controller or separate power source required.
Compatible with new-style PowerStep, PowerStep XL, and PowerStep Xtreme applications. Backed by a 5-year limited warranty from AMP Research.

Installation Instructions
- Disconnect the vehicle battery before beginning any electrical work.
- Position each LED module along the underside of the PowerStep board at the locations indicated in the installation guide.

- Snap the LED pigtail connectors into the wiring harness.
- Route the wiring harness along the PowerStep wiring path, using the included split loom and nylon ties to secure it cleanly.
- Splice the harness into the existing PowerStep wiring at the designated connection points per the installation guide.
- Reconnect the battery, open the door to deploy the steps, and verify all four LED modules illuminate.
