Frequently Asked Questions
How do I confirm the connection sizes for the -10AN x 18 Degree x 1.5 Adapter - Black?
Identify the thread standard, nominal size, seat or flare, and sealing method on both mating components. Similar-looking AN, ORB, NPT, metric, and OEM connections are not interchangeable.
Does this fitting require thread sealant or an O-ring?
Use only the sealing method specified for the exact connection. Flare, ORB, and tapered pipe threads seal differently, and excess sealant can contaminate the system.
Can this fitting be used with my fuel or fluid?
Confirm compatibility for the fitting material and every seal or O-ring with the exact gasoline, ethanol blend, methanol, oil, coolant, brake fluid, or power-steering fluid in the system.
Installation Instructions
Confirm the exact part number and all mating sizes. Depressurize and drain the system as required. Assemble with the correct tools, seals, lubricant, insertion depth, routing, support, and torque from Fragola's current instructions. Flush the completed line where applicable, pressure-test every connection, and correct all leaks, abrasion, heat exposure, or interference before service.
