Install Instructions
- Remove the clip attaching the plastic hood cowl to the fender using a flathead screwdriver.
- Remove the painted 10mm bolt exposed after removing the clip.
- Align the lower strut bracket so the bent tab rests in the rearmost hole and secure it with the provided 10mm bolt.
- Install a rubber grommet through the long hood side bracket from the back.
- Remove the upper 12mm hinge nut and loosen the lower nut about a quarter inch.
- Slot the hood bracket into place between the hinge and the nut, then reinstall and tighten both nuts.
- Feed the strut's threaded post through the hood bracket with threads facing the center of the car and loosely secure with a half inch nut.
- Repeat the process for the lower bracket connection, then fully tighten all nuts and remove the protective film from the GrimmSpeed badge.
