Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS Injectors for V8 Applications from the BMW M3 to the Hellcat, Set of Eight

Four application rows share this number, and between them they cover most of the modern factory V8 performance landscape: the BMW M3 from 2007, the Dodge and Chrysler Hellcat, Trackhawk and Demon, the Nissan Titan from 2004, and the Ford Mustang GT500 from 2007 to 2014. Only the GT500 row carries a closed year range, so it is the only one that produces a fitment tag.

The configuration is the plain 48 mm build with 14 mm top and lower O-rings. That matters because the store also carries a 48 mm set with a black bottom adapter and a 60 mm set with a similar description, and none of those are alternatives for an engine listed here. The application row, not the body length, is what decides the order.

Key Features

  • The configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the E90/E92/E93 M3 07+, Hellcat, Trackhawk and Demon, Titan 04+ and Mustang GT500 07-14
  • Matched set of eight, consistent with the manufacturer's published per-set pricing for this number
  • Plain 48 mm build with 14 mm top and lower O-rings and no bottom adapter
  • Separate part number from the 48 mm black bottom adapter set of eight, which serves the earlier SRT-8 cars instead
  • Rated at 1728 cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi) on E10 emissions certification fuel, with a published maximum differential fuel pressure of 7.0 bar
  • Compatible with methanol, ethanol, MTBE, nitromethane and all known hydrocarbon fuels, with a USCAR electrical connector
  • Published dynamic flow and offset data from 8 to 16 volts across the working pressure range, for direct entry into an engine management system

Fitment

Years Make Model Notes
2007-2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Published as Mustang GT500 07-14; carried through to a fitment tag
2007 and later BMW M3 Published as E90 / E92 / E93 M3 07+; open-ended and chassis-coded, so no tag is created
Not published Dodge / Chrysler Hellcat, Trackhawk and Demon Trim names spanning several models with no years, so no tag is created
2004 and later Nissan Titan Published as Titan 04+; open-ended, so no tag is created

The GT500 row is the only bounded entry, and the tag follows the store convention of recording that car as a Mustang with the Shelby GT500 submodel. E90, E92 and E93 are chassis codes and 07+ is open-ended, so the BMW row is documented rather than tagged. Hellcat, Trackhawk and Demon are trim names applied across several models and model years, which is not a vehicle record a search can resolve.

What's Included

  • Eight Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS fuel injectors in the 1750.48.14.14.8 configuration, supplied as one dynamically matched set.
  • No manufacturer packing list is published for this number, so assume the set only. Service seals and connector components are catalogued separately by Injector Dynamics.
  • Flow slope and offset figures come from the manufacturer's published table rather than from the packaging, and that table changes as testing continues.

About Injector Dynamics

The ID1750-XDS replaced the ID1700 in the Injector Dynamics range and inherited its corrosion resistance, which the manufacturer sums up as compatible with everything but dirt. Sets are matched before they ship, and the catalogue lists one configuration per application.

FAQ

Is 1728 cc/min the maximum?

No, it is the nominal rating at 3.0 bar. The published table shows considerably more flow at higher differential pressures.

Is a boost-referenced regulator a problem for these?

Not as long as the resulting differential pressure stays within the published 7.0 bar limit.

Are these safe on pump gasoline as well as race fuel?

All known hydrocarbon fuels are listed as compatible, alongside methanol, ethanol, MTBE and nitromethane.

Can a Denso or EV1 harness be used?

Not directly. The injector is specified with a USCAR connector, so an adapter or harness change is required.

Are the injectors interchangeable within the set?

They are matched as a group, so keeping the set together is what preserves the matching.

Is a receipt needed for a claim?

The term runs from the date of original purchase, so proof of that date is what the period is measured against.

Can a single injector be sent in?

The service is built around the complete set, because the matching only means something if all the injectors are processed together.

Can the engine be started before the data is loaded?

It should not be. The published characterization data belongs in the calibration before the first start.

Does the motorsport designation restrict where these can be used?

It reflects the design intent. Injector Dynamics states the X-Series was designed specifically for motorsport use and publishes no road approval.

Which Mustang does this fit?

Injector Dynamics publishes Mustang GT500 07-14 against this number, which is the Shelby GT500 built between 2007 and 2014.

Does this cover the 2020 and later GT500?

No. The 2020 and later car is listed against a different configuration, so check the row before ordering.

Is the BMW M3 application tagged?

No. The manufacturer publishes it as E90 / E92 / E93 M3 07+, which is a chassis code with an open-ended year range. It is documented in the fitment table instead.

Why is there no Hellcat fitment tag?

Hellcat, Trackhawk and Demon are trim names used across several models and years without a published range, so no verifiable year, make and model tag can be built from them.

Does this fit the Nissan Titan?

The application table lists Titan 04+ against this number, but with an open year range. Confirm the engine and rail before ordering.

Is this the same as the black bottom adapter set of eight?

No. That is a separate part number for the earlier SRT-8 cars. This one uses a plain 14 mm lower O-ring.

Installation Instructions

Because the manufacturer publishes no torque values or removal procedure for this number, the sequence below sticks to documented injector cautions and refers the rest to factory service information.

  1. Confirm that part number 1750.48.14.14.8 is the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the 2007 and later BMW M3, the Hellcat, Trackhawk and Demon, the Nissan Titan and the 2007-2014 Shelby GT500 before anything is removed from the engine.
  2. Capture each serial number from the connector base before fitting, because they become unreadable once the injectors are in the rail.
  3. Release residual fuel pressure and isolate the feed before removing the rail in the sequence the factory service information specifies.
  4. The retainer moulded around the lower O-ring is not a shipping part. It comes off only when the manufacturer says the application requires it.
  5. Check that the injector seats fully in the rail and in the port with the 48 mm and its listed interfaces before committing to the install.
  6. When the injector plugs are assembled, take roughly 5 mm of insulation off, insert the wire through the seal and into the terminal, and crimp with the conductor correctly aligned.
  7. Power and ground may be swapped at the connector without consequence, per the manufacturer's published guidance.
  8. Apply only the factory service torque values. No generic substitute should be used where the injector manufacturer is silent.
  9. Populate the injector model in the ECU with the published ID1750-XDS data set before attempting to start.
  10. Static-pressurise the system, inspect for leaks around every seal, and confirm that fuel filtration is in place as the warranty terms require.
