Install Instructions

Safely lift the rear of the F-150 and support the frame on jack stands. Support the rear axle with a floor jack to prevent the axle from dropping during shock removal. Unbolt the upper and lower factory shock mounting hardware. Remove the stock shock. Slide the included 0.4375-inch steel sleeves onto the 2200LL-9 bushing ends as required by the mount configuration. Install the 2200LL-9 with the piston rod shaft oriented upward toward the top of the mount. Torque all fasteners to Ford factory specifications. The 2200LL-9 must be installed with the shaft up, do not invert the shock. Install both rear shocks before lowering the vehicle from the stands.
