What is the difference between the organic and ceramic disc sides
Each disc uses full-face organic friction material on one side for smooth street engagement and segmented ceramic friction material on the other side for increased holding power under hard use.
Is a throwout bearing or pilot bushing included
No. The throwout bearing and pilot bushing are not included and must be purchased separately if needed.
Does this clutch require a break-in period
Yes. McLeod recommends 500 to 750 stop-and-go miles or approximately 1,500 clutch cycles of normal street driving before driving aggressively. Do not break in this clutch on a chassis dyno.
Can I adjust the clamp load or pedal feel after installation
The pressure plate is manufactured to a fixed clamp load specification. Pedal feel is determined by the diaphragm pressure plate design and cannot be field adjusted.
Will this clutch work with my factory flywheel
This kit includes a dedicated flywheel matched to this clutch and does not use the factory flywheel.

Installation Instructions
- Remove the transmission and existing clutch assembly per the vehicle's factory service manual
- Inspect the flywheel or install the included flywheel and confirm the friction surface is clean and free of oil or grease
- Install the bottom disc to the flywheel using the supplied alignment tool with the correct side facing the flywheel
- Install the floater plate and pressure plate, aligning the drive straps as specified in McLeod's installation instructions
- Tighten the pressure plate nuts in a star pattern to McLeod's specified torque values
- Reinstall the transmission, throwout bearing, and bellhousing
- Adjust clutch pedal free play per the factory service manual specification
- Follow McLeod's recommended break-in period of 500 to 750 stop-and-go miles before aggressive driving
