What you should know before you spray

The NX EFI Plate System is designed to operate with the stock fuel pump and no timing retard up to the 100 horsepower setting. Above 100 horsepower, an upgraded high flow fuel pump rated at 250 LPH or higher is required, along with high octane race fuel and appropriate timing retard to prevent detonation. At 200 horsepower and above, plan on increased strength internal engine components and high performance head gaskets depending on your engine combination, compression, and fuel quality. This is a wet plate system, please follow the included Nitrous Express instruction sheet to the letter for safe operation.

Installation Instructions

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and select the starting horsepower jet, installing the matching N2O and fuel jets in the plate using a back up wrench at all times.
2. Remove the upper intake manifold, clean both mating surfaces, and place the nitrous plate with new gaskets between the throttle body and intake with the fuel and nitrous fittings facing the front of the vehicle. Torque the intake bolts to factory spec.
3. Mount the nitrous bottle in the trunk or outside the passenger compartment using the supplied brackets, oriented per the NX bottle position diagram so the siphon tube stays covered.
4. Route the 4AN nitrous feed line from the bottle to the engine compartment along the factory fuel lines, keeping clearance from heat, moving parts, and electrical leads, and secure with zip ties.
5. Mount the solenoids near the plate so the supply lines have slack, install the inlet and outlet fittings using only the red NX liquid thread sealer, then connect the blue N2O and red fuel lines from solenoids to plate.
6. Locate the Schrader fuel test port on the fuel rail, install the supplied adapter, and connect the red fuel line to the inlet side of the fuel solenoid.
7. Mount the master arming switch within easy reach of the driver, install the TPS wide open throttle switch, and wire the relay following the NX schematic for power, ground, solenoid power, and activation paths.
8. With the bottle still closed, test both solenoids by arming the system and triggering the WOT switch, listening for both solenoids to click cleanly. Then open the bottle, leak check every fitting, and verify fuel pump and ECU configuration before any wide open throttle test pull.
