Frequently Asked Questions
What is the RC0013RZ-22 used for?
The RC0013RZ-22 replaces the factory rear sway bar on supported Subaru models to reduce body roll and improve cornering grip and balance.
How much stiffer is the RC0013RZ-22 compared to factory?
Moving the end link to the stiffest position increases sway bar rate by up to 50% compared to the original equipment bar.
Does this fit both the WRX and WRX STI?
Yes. The RC0013RZ-22 fits 2008-2021 WRX and WRX STI models, as well as a broad range of Subaru Forester, Impreza, Legacy, Outback, and Crosstrek applications.
Will this void my vehicle warranty under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act?
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prohibits a dealer from voiding your factory warranty solely because you installed an aftermarket part. The dealer must prove the aftermarket part caused a specific failure before denying a warranty claim.
Is wheel alignment required after installing the RC0013RZ-22?
Yes. A four-wheel alignment is recommended after installing any sway bar to confirm suspension geometry has not shifted during installation.
What tools do I need to install the RC0013RZ-22?
Standard hand tools including sockets, wrenches, and a torque wrench are sufficient. A lift or jack stands are required for safe vehicle access.
What is the warranty on this SuperPro sway bar?
The metal sway bar carries a 3-year / 37,282-mile warranty. SuperPro polyurethane bushings are covered by a lifetime warranty.
What is the difference between a 3-position and 2-position adjustable bar?
A 3-position bar offers an additional intermediate setting between soft and firm, giving more granular control over the handling balance of the vehicle.
Installation Instructions
