Installation Instructions
- Safely lift and support the vehicle on jack stands with the wheels off the ground. Do not work under a vehicle supported only by a floor jack.
- Locate the factory engine mount on the side being replaced. The CTS-V has a mount on each side of the engine block.
- Support the engine from below using a floor jack with a block of wood to protect the oil pan before removing the mount.
- Remove the factory engine mount hardware and lower the mount away from the engine block and subframe bracket.
- Position the UMI 2600-R into place, aligning the bracket with the subframe and engine block mounting holes.
- Install the hardware and torque to the factory specification for your application. Refer to the CTS-V service manual for the correct torque values.
- Carefully lower the engine onto the new mount by lowering the floor jack.
- Verify the mount is seated correctly and all fasteners are torqued before lowering the vehicle.
- Start the vehicle and check for unusual vibration or noise. A slight increase in NVH at idle compared to stock rubber mounts is normal with polyurethane.
