Installation Instructions
- Cool the exhaust, raise the truck on rated stands and support the rear axle so it cannot drop while you work over it.
- Assess the existing hangers and isolators, since none are supplied with this kit.
- Soak the flange hardware, disconnect the front joint and free the old system from each hanger.
- Lay the new pipes and muffler out in order and check that the over-axle bend matches the truck's ride height and wheelbase.
- Fit the front pipe using the supplied spring bolts so the joint stays under spring tension as the system heats.
- Add the muffler and tailpipe with the 2.25 in and 2.5 in U-bolt clamps left loose, seating the system on the factory hangers.
- Check clearance over the axle at full bump and full droop, and to the fuel tank and brake lines.
- Tighten the clamps front to rear with the tailpipe set in the OEM position.
