UMI also states it cannot guarantee compatibility with other manufacturers' components. The sheet packed in the box still carries an older disclaimer that predates the current two year term, and the live policy page is the document that governs. Neither is a Black Ops Auto Works warranty.

Installation Instructions

1. Lay out the eight bolts, eight nylon lock nuts and washers and confirm the arms being fitted use half inch mounting hardware.
2. Support the car on jack stands under the frame as directed by the instruction sheet for the arms being installed.
3. Replace one arm at a time so the rear axle stays located.
4. Fit each new bolt with a flat washer and start the nylon lock nut by hand, leaving the joint loose.
5. Once all four arms are in place, relocate the stands to the rear axle so the suspension carries the weight of the car.
6. Tighten every fastener to the torque published in the control arm instructions or the factory service manual, since UMI publishes no torque figure for the kit itself.
7. Recheck all eight fasteners after the first few drives.
