- Suspend the caliper with a wire hook to avoid stressing the brake hose
- Remove old pads from the bracket and clean all contact surfaces with a wire brush
- Apply thin ceramic brake lubricant to bracket contact points only, not on friction surfaces or rotor face
- Use a C-clamp and old pad to compress the caliper piston fully into the bore
- Install the new RP.10530.2 pads into the bracket ensuring correct orientation
- Reinstall the caliper and torque slide pins to manufacturer specification
- Reinstall the wheel and torque lug nuts to spec
- Repeat on the opposite side
- Pump the pedal until firm before moving the vehicle
- Complete a bed-in procedure before aggressive braking
